A bronze swiss blue enamel automation bird singing box. The bird has beautiful multi-coloured plumage and when wound it moves its beak, flaps both wings, bobs tailfeather and turns entire body from side-to-side to the perfectly continuous synchronised birdsong. Circa 1900 and in great working condition as the mechanisms have been overhauled. A wonderfully handcrafted item to own.
